The Learning Objectives of Ap World History

The Learning Objectives of 'Ap World History'If you have a student at your college or university, then your teacher may have assigned a chapter from the book, 'Ap World History', which focuses on the American Civil War. Your student can spend a considerable amount of time in this chapter taking notes for a 'dummy' test, but most students find this time is better spent in class. For students who prefer an alternative way to learn, the book, 'Ap World History', by John W. Froelich, Dale R. Schwinger, and Richard J. Furman, is a quick read for learning the basics of the nation-state. However, students are still given ample opportunities to study how individuals, states, and regions form, expand, interact, and migrate. This book focuses on the events leading up to the Civil War, and does not discuss the causes of the war.In fact, much of the book is devoted to the period immediately following the Civil War, and even more is devoted to the period just before. In the meantime, the chapters dedicated to the period immediately following the Civil War focus on major events that occurred prior to the Civil War. These chapters include, 'The Civil War,' 'Regional Changes and Demographics,' 'Social Change in South Carolina,' 'US Map,' 'North Carolina and Tennessee,' 'Confederate Supporters,' 'Unions in Mississippi,' 'Unions in Arkansas,' 'Women's Suffrage,' 'The Chicomaniacs and the Cowboy Trail,' 'Ben Hardee in Washington,' 'Census Data,' 'Public Health,' 'Politics,' and 'Labor History.' In addition, there are chapters on colonization, immigration, Chinese immigration, race relations, and agricultural conditions in the South. It should be no surprise that students would also be interested in 'Ap World History,' which explains how the nation-state evolved and changed over time. The chapters of this volume take students from the start of ancient civilizations to modern day and then to the present. The chapters of this volume cover a period that ranges from the Bronze Age to th e 20th century. Each chapter explores one of the major civilizations, from the rise of the Phoenicians in ancient Greece, to the spread of the Roman Empire and the Bee Slave Trade in Africa. There are chapters that explain why nations grow and develop, like the cause of the Athens and Sparta polities, to the different types of governments, and the numerous types of citizens that each state has. Students can explore the factors that lead to different economic development and find out why some nations have it all, while others are mired in poverty.Students will also find numerous chapters on each of the states that existed before the Civil War, and each chapter also covers what the state's current status is. All of these chapters are written in an easy to understand manner. They include history, geography, culture, government, economics, religions, and other subjects of general interest.Students will also find plenty of illustrations throughout the 'Ap World History' volumes. These ill ustrations give students a great opportunity to learn about the various periods, cultures, and countries that existed in the period of time covered in the book. Many of the illustrations are drawn from actual historical documents or are based on historical figures and events that students will identify with. The topics covered in 'Ap World History' cover the course of time from a number of thousand years ago, up to the present. As students progress through the text, they are given options to continue reading additional chapters. For example, they may choose to go back to learn more about a particular period of history.
